Minnesota Fundraising
We will be having the following fundraisers for the Minnesota trip.
Yankee Candle - If you did not pick up your packet at the Puck
Drop party please contact
Ann Davis at
ann_davis@charter.net. All order forms must be turned in no later
than Wednesday,
October 13 in order to have them by Thanksgiving. Please remember sales
tax is already
included so there is no need to collect sales tax.
Texas Roadhouse - Texas Roadhouse will be donating 10% of the
bill towards Mansfield
Hockey Association on the following days. You must mention MHA in order
for us to get credit.
Please invite all of your family and friends as the more we have the
more credit we get.
Tuesdays, September 14th and 21st
Thursday, September 16th and 23rd
Skate with the Stars of Mansfield Hockey - Invite your friends
and family to come out and
skate with the Mansfield Hockey team on Wednesday, September 22nd from
6:45-7:45 pm.
Tickets are $5 and include skate rental, door prizes and a chance to
meet the teams.
Car Wash - We will be having a car wash at the 7-11 on Walnut
Creek and Highway 287
from 1:00-6:00 pm. Tell all your friends and family to come out and get
their car washed.
Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament - Jason Watson has graciously
donated his
establishment, Apex Indoor Soccer, to hold this tournament. Prizes for
the top finishers,
fun and a raffle to take place that night for a buy in price of $75. The
tournament will start
at 7:00 pm so please plan on being there around 6:30 for sign ups. We
will be providing
the food and beer for the evening. We will distribute flyers on this
tournament as soon as
we get them printed. Hope to see you there.
Bake Sale at Joe's Family Restaurant - This bake sale will be
taking place at Joe's Family
Restaurant in Mansfield on Saturday, November 27th from 8:00 am to 12:30
pm. We will
be asking for donated bake goods as that time. Your team reps will keep
you posted.
Under Armour
Mouthguard
Bill Dubois has offered to the make the custom mouthguards from Under
Armour at his cost
which should be around $200.00. The normal retail price on these is
$495.00. These are high
quality bite guards designed for athletic performance. They require
upper and lower impressions
and a bite registration similar to crown and bridge techniques you might
see at your dentist.

Once he has
all the players that are interested he will contact you about meeting at
his office for impressions.
MISD Club
John Davis is our teacher sponsor this year for the MISD club. If you
need to reach John

Minnesota Trip Info
We are still working on exact details regarding the Minnesota trip but
for planning purposes
we should depart Texas on Sunday, December 26th and return to Texas on
Thursday,
December 30th. The tournament will be Monday thru Wednesday, December
27-29 in
Willmar, Minnesota. We will keep you updated with new details as we get
them.
2010-2011 Teams
The teams are now posted on the "Team JV" and "Team Varsity" pages.
Please click on
the links to the left to check out the teams. If your players name does
not appear, we have not
received a signed contract yet. Once a contract is received by a board
member, the player will
be added to the appropriate team.
2010-2011 MHA Member
Handbook
Please read over the
2010-2011 member handbook prior to attending the contract signing
this Wednesday. MHA wants to make sure you understand all the rules
before
signing your contract.

* First JV regular season game - Sunday, October 3rd, time and place TBD
Important Holiday Dates for MHA
* There will be a Varsity game on
Tuesday, November 23rd. (Thanksgiving Week)
* There will be a Varsity game on Tuesday, December 21st. (Christmas
Week)
* There will not be a Junior Varsity game played on Super Bowl Sunday
* There will NOT be any AT&T games played on Saturdays - as of this time
